Half.com explores the junkie-like addiction to education in excess, and the many perils of over-studying. Because Half.com sells college books for half the price of bookstores, students are able to buy up all the art history and political science they can inject into their soft, mushy pink brains. But they also sell video games, and books of leisure, too...We concepted, designed and illustrated a collection of over-indulgent misfits that came to life in college comic strips, and educational public warning web films. The message was clear, if you don’t play a video game or read a romance novel every once in awhile, you’re doomed to a life of being really good at Trigonometry, and not having any friends.
